Our business process automation services target the handoffs — the moments where work stops moving because it is waiting for a person to notice it, copy it somewhere, and tell someone else. Those gaps are where days disappear in an otherwise healthy process, and they are almost always cheaper to fix than the work on either side of them.
The problem
Processes rarely fail at the steps. They fail between them. A form gets submitted and sits until someone checks the inbox. A deal closes and the delivery team finds out in a meeting two days later. An invoice is approved but nobody triggers fulfilment. Every one of those gaps looks small and none of them show up on a process diagram, which is why they survive years of optimisation effort.
What’s included
End-to-end process mapping
We document what actually happens, not what the SOP says. The gap between the two is usually where the automation opportunity is.
Systems integration
Connecting CRM, phone, forms, project tools, spreadsheets and billing so records move automatically instead of by copy-paste.
Approval and routing logic
Conditional routing so work goes to the right person automatically, with escalation when it sits too long.
Automated reporting
Scheduled digests delivered to Slack or email, because dashboards that require a login get checked weekly at best.
Exception handling
Explicit paths for the cases that break the happy path, so failures produce an alert rather than a silently stalled record.
How the engagement runs
01
Baseline the current process
We measure hours consumed, wait time between steps, and how often work falls through — so the improvement is provable later.
02
Target the largest gap first
We automate the handoff costing the most time, not the one people complain about loudest. They are frequently different.
03
Build and integrate
Workflows are built on n8n, Make or Zapier depending on volume and logic complexity, against the systems you already run.
04
Measure against the baseline
The same measurements come back out of the system automatically, so the return is a number rather than an assertion.
This fits if
Work sits waiting for someone to notice it rather than being routed
Your systems each hold part of the truth and none of them agree
Reporting is assembled by hand every week
Headcount is growing faster than output

Business process automation is using software to run a multi-step business process end to end without a person moving the work along. It differs from task automation in scope: automating one task saves a few minutes, whereas automating a process removes the waiting, the handoffs and the transcription errors between every task in a chain. The gains usually come from the gaps rather than the steps.
Which processes are worth automating first?
High frequency, low judgement, and currently causing delay. A process that runs fifty times a day and requires no real decision is a better first target than a complex quarterly process, even if the quarterly one feels more painful. We baseline the hours before choosing, because the expensive process and the annoying process are usually not the same one.
Do we have to replace our existing software?
No — and we would push back if someone suggested it. We integrate with what you already run. Migration projects are expensive, disruptive, and rarely the actual constraint. If a tool exposes an API or webhook it can be wired in; if it genuinely cannot, we will tell you that during the audit rather than after the invoice.
